KChat Content Preparation Tutorial
Transcript
(00:05) In this presentation, I’ll go over best practices for preparing content for your KChat chatbot. To demonstrate, I’ll show how we use Kurator and other tools, including Glasp and ChatGPT, to transcribe videos.
I’ll select a video for my AI Insiders Guild chatbot, that hasn’t been added to my collection and go through the process.
First, we load the video onto the page. After clicking on the video, it loads, and we’re ready to add it to Kurator. To do this, I click on the Kurator icon.
(00:51) You can choose where to place the content. After selecting the correct collection, the system scrapes information from the page, allowing you to edit it.
For instance, I add the author’s name to the author section and relevant content tags. These tags are crucial for improving how the chatbot retrieves information.
For example, I might add tags like "Unlocking Creative Genius" and "Revolutionizing Brand Strategy with AI." to classify the content.
Editing the content ensures it looks and functions the way I want. For this video, I might include additional tags like "Brand Strategy." Tags help index the information for more accurate query results.
(01:44) Next, I’ll create a transcript to add to the content summary. First, I save the changes by clicking “Create.”
To generate transcripts, I use a free browser extension called Glasp. Once installed, it appears on the YouTube page and automatically generates the transcript.
(02:21) After generating the transcript, I copy it but take an extra step before adding it to Kurator.
I use a custom GPT YouTube Transcript Optimizer which I created.
This GPT agent removes filler words, improves grammar, adds timestamps, and includes speaker captions.
Timestamps are essential because they pinpoint where specific content is located in the video, enabling more precise chatbot responses.
Once optimized, the tool processes the transcript within minutes, even for long videos, and I copy the cleaned-up version.
Then, I activate the Kurator icon on the video page and replace the original content with the improved transcript.
(04:05) With timestamps, structured content, and any additional comments or modifications, the content is ready for use in KChat.
This process is versatile and works for other formats like PDFs or web pages, which can also be summarized and added to Curator in a similar manner.
(04:51) Now, let’s look at the chatbot itself and test the added content. After retraining my AI marketer chatbot with the new content, I access a blog post and demo chatbot showcasing the various content types.
For instance, I might ask, "How can I use AI to improve my brand strategy?"
If the video included information on "Brand Strategy" or "Creative Idea Generation," the chatbot retrieves the corresponding timestamps. Clicking a timestamp directs me to the relevant part of the video.
(06:23) This process shows how adding content to your KChat chatbot enhances its ability to answer user questions and provide value.
The same method applies to other content types. Copy and paste the content, create an agent with ChatGPT, summarize it to fit your needs, and experiment with different techniques to refine your process.
(07:14) Add your comments where necessary, as they become part of the chatbot’s queryable content. This approach simplifies transcription and content management for your KChat chatbot.
