KChat for Content Creators

KChat is an excellent tool for content creators. It helps content creators get more views and shares by making it easier for people to find information based on their specific interests.

In essence, KChat meets your users where they are.

(00:05) In this presentation, I want to demonstrate how content creators, journalists, and analysts can use KChat to create an index into their content, and meet their users where they are.

Let's explore what that means and how it all works. But before I show you KChat, I want to quickly explain why I chose "Awaken the Wonder" for this demo site and "Volunteer Advocacy" for the URL.

We live in information silos, often receiving information from algorithms or highly biased news channels.
(00:57) The way to help people break out of their bubbles is by exposing them to content they might not have considered before.
This is the purpose of "Awaken the Wonder"—to encourage people to question their belief systems by allowing them to ask questions and receive references outside their usual sphere of influence. Now, let's take a look at KChat.
The true application of KChat for content creators, political campaigns, and analysts is not for the GPT to provide a detailed answer, but to offer a summary and index of the content.
(01:52) Let’s try it out. I'm going to ask a question about climate change: "Have we reached a tipping point in climate change? What are the extreme signs?"
KChat will now search the curated content and provide an answer. As you can see, it provides a reference and a timestamp—scientists are increasingly concerned as global mean surface temperatures have risen. You also receive a reference with a timestamp so you can locate the specific answer within the content.
(02:36) The tool provides two references. When users click on these, they are directed to the source of the information.
This allows them to quickly find answers to their questions and, most importantly, to view the entire context and presentation of the content.
The idea is to generate more views for your content while providing references. Moreover, your visitors can share this content with their communities. Currently, we're sharing the entire post, but in the future, we'll enable sharing of specific segments.
(03:25) For example, if I click on the Twitter icon, it copies everything you see, including the links, making it easy to share.
This way, you can increase views for your content, and your users and advocates can also share it to gain more exposure. This is particularly valuable in a political climate where people are actively seeking answers.
Everyone is looking for great content to share, and KChat is an ideal tool for content creators.
(04:11) To convince yourself that KChat is right for you, it's easy—just get Curator, add a variety of content posts to your Curator, create a KChat, ask some questions, and see how it works. The best testimonial is your own experience. Give it a try.
