Kurator Use Case: Curating and Organizing Access to Project Files
Transcript
(0.05) Users on average visit 40 different websites and switch between them every three minutes. Having too many tabs open becomes frustrating. Kurator makes it easy for you to curate access to information and save notes along with important content tags, making it easy to find information in the context of the project you're working on.
(0.34) Here is the Kurator app. I'll show you my new chip project. New chip has 262 links in seven months since I started this project and I can quickly and easily access all of this information. I can do it by choosing the content tags or I can use the publisher tags.
(1:06) To give you a better view, I'm going to reset all of these and go to my list view. Here, I can search the content tags. I'm going to search for my pitch deck information, filter it, then go over to my publisher tag, say, everything that I have on picture chart, and filter information in this way.
(1:37) I don't need to have all of these tabs open. I can quickly close all of the tabs and simply access information as I need them. With one click, I'm going to open up the app and go directly to the file inside the app, instead of having to look for that information.
(2:06) Once I get to the app, I also have the ability to share this folder with any one of my colleagues so that any link that I deposit or they deposit will be stored inside.
(2:42) For example, note taking. You can take notes with your links easily in Kurator but sometimes you may have more detailed notes. If I go to links that I have stored inside of Notion, you can see that for my curriculum I use the Notion Clipper to save information with detailed notes for each lesson inside of Notion. The access to that is managed through Kurator.
(3:15) Any kind of a link that you can access in your browser, for example, a desktop link. Here, I'm going to use Google slides to demonstrate. Anything that you can access in your browser like this file can be managed with Kurator. This is obviously only accessible from your computer but if it's a web document like Google Slides, I can then access that from any browser when I log into my Kurator app.
