KBucket · The WordPress plugin that publishes your research
Curate in your browser. Publish on your own site.
KBucket turns the collections you build in Kurator into a content hub, carousels and grids on your WordPress site. Every item gets its own page on your domain, so the visits, the links and the search value stay with you.
Free WordPress plugin. Publishes from your Kurator collections.
Why GPT Hallucinates and How KChat Fixes It
Filed under Structured data added: VideoObject(00:04) If you have used ChatGPT, you know it can sometimes answer with confidence but still get facts wrong. That’s called a hallucination. In this video, we look at why GPT models hallucinate…
The problem
Curated content usually ends up working for someone else.
Aggregator plugins import whatever a feed sends, unreviewed. Search engines treat content copied in bulk from other sites as low value, and your site carries the cost.
Most curation plugins are run from WordPress admin: feed settings, filters, drafts and edits. Every change means logging in, and every collaborator needs an account.
Curation platforms and widget services keep your hub on their servers or inject it through their scripts. The visits and the search value go to them.
Curation is only worth doing if you keep what it earns.
How it works
You curate in Kurator. KBucket publishes it.
No content is managed inside WordPress. KBucket takes the collections you build in Kurator and publishes them on your site.
Choose what goes on your site.
Save articles, videos, PDFs and posts as you browse. Your prompts describe and tag each one, and YouTube videos are imported and transcribed. Collaborators can curate in shared Kurator folders without ever needing a WordPress login.
- YouTube videos imported, transcribed and categorised
- Descriptions and tags written as you save
- Shared folders for curating as a team
Connect a collection once.
Add the collection’s sync link in the KBucket plugin and every new link you save in Kurator is added to your hub automatically. Prefer to publish in batches? Upload an export file instead.
- Automatic sync of new links from Kurator
- Manual upload of an export file, if you prefer
- One API key connects the plugin to your account
A hub, widgets and a page for every item.
KBucket publishes a hub page with a URL for every item, and lets you place the same content anywhere as carousels, sliders and grids, filtered by category, tag, publisher or author.
Our own hub runs on it. See it here.
Why it’s different
Your curation. Your domain. Your results.
Aggregators automate the publishing. Curation platforms host it for you. KBucket does neither: you choose every item in Kurator, and it publishes on your own site.
What you get
Everything you curate, working for your site.
Each curated item gets its own URL, so shares, links and search visits land on your site.
Items carry schema.org markup — title, description, image, date and author — that search engines and AI answer engines read.
Publish a channel as a playable library with transcripts, so viewers stay on your site.
Carousels, sliders and grids from the same collection, filtered by category, tag, publisher or author.
Plug it into your newsletter or social scheduler and every platform stays in step with your hub.
Add a custom banner to each post to promote your products and services, or to run ads.
Point KChat’s source links here, and every answer brings visitors back to your site.
Style the hub and widgets to match your brand from the plugin’s Styles tab.
In production · Optimal Access
This site runs on it.
Every tutorial and demo in our content hub is published by KBucket from a Kurator collection. The carousels on our homepage and our product pages are KBucket widgets, and our hub is where KChat’s source links point.
We add an item in Kurator. It appears on the site. Nobody opens WordPress.
Who it’s for
Built for people who curate on purpose.
Subject-matter experts and analysts
Build an authoritative resource hub on your own site, with your own descriptions on every item. Research libraries, industry news, reports
Agencies and marketing teams
Curate client hubs from the browser. Your team works in shared Kurator folders, not the client’s WordPress. Client hubs, campaign media centres
YouTube creators and educators
Publish your channel as a playable library with transcripts, or keep a resource library for your students. Channels, courses, resource libraries
Organisations and project teams
Preserve institutional knowledge from approved sources and make it easy for everyone to find. Internal knowledge, approved sources
Probably not you, if…
You want thousands of items imported automatically from feeds, a live wall of Instagram and TikTok posts, or your site isn’t on WordPress. A feed aggregator or social-feed plugin will suit you better. Better to say so here than after you’ve installed it.

Questions
Before you install.
Is KBucket free?
Yes. KBucket is free to install and use. To publish content you need a Kurator account, and Kurator’s free plan lets you curate and manage up to 100 posts.
How do I add content to KBucket?
In the plugin’s upload section, either upload an export file from Kurator or connect a sync link. With a sync link, every new link you save in Kurator is added to KBucket automatically.
Do I need to log into WordPress to update my hub?
No. Once sync is connected, everything is curated, edited and organised in Kurator, and KBucket publishes it.
How is KBucket different from an RSS aggregator plugin?
Aggregators import whatever a feed publishes and are managed inside WordPress. KBucket publishes only what you chose in Kurator, with your descriptions and tags, as pages on your own domain. If you want high-volume automatic imports, an aggregator is the better fit.
Is KBucket good for SEO?
Each item gets its own URL on your domain with structured data, related items link to each other, and your hub can be the destination for social shares and KChat answers. That keeps visits and links on your site.
How does KBucket work with KChat?
They use the same content source. When you set up a KChat chatbot, you can point its source links to your KBucket page, so every answer sends visitors back to your site.
Do you provide training?
